One Room Schoolhouses of Exeter, Rhode Island

1766-1952

The 4th Annual One-Room Schoolhouse Reunion will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2009, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Exeter Public Library, 773 Ten Rod Rd, Exeter RI.

On May 9th, 2006, a reunion of Exeter students who were of school age on or before 1952 was held at the Exeter Public Library. More than 60 people who had been schooled in a one-room schoolhouse attended! The event was such a success that everyone wanted it to become an annual event, not just a one-time get together.

Since then, reunions have been held in 2007 and 2008. Pictures of the attendees are shown here.
